Earnley Fete Raises £516.12 for Selsey Lifeboats

August 2017

Earnley Fete

Earnley Parish Council held its second fete at Earnley Grange encouraged by the success of last year. The owners kindly opened up their garden and field to enable the fete which was raising funds for three different charities, namely the Selsey Lifeboats, St Wilfrid's Hospice and Earnley Church.

On the day, Ros Bonham and Pam Connor, Selsey Lifeboat Association, had an RNLI souvenir stall and John Connor displayed an exhibition of the new Lifeboat Station.

The event was blessed with good weather and people spending their money resulting in the amount of £516.12 being raised for each of the three charities.

The cheque was presented to Ros Bonham and John Connor by Mr Chris Charter, Vice Chairman of Earnley Parish Council.
