Charity Clay Shoot Organised by Chichester Wildfowlers Association Raises £555 for Selsey Lifeboats

March 2018

Cheque presentation

On a very cold and windy Saturday March 10th around 70 people gathered at Mill Farm, Lurgashall, for a Charity Clay Shoot organised by The Chichester Wildfowlers Association.

The shoot consisted of a 50 bird sporting shoot and a 50 bird flush. All proceeds from the excellent raffle were to be donated to Selsey Lifeboats and Andrew Loughan, the farmer, declared that all profits from the bacon sandwiches sold that day were also to go to Selsey Lifeboats.

On Tuesday 20th March, three members of Chichester Wildfowlers, their wives and children, came to Selsey Lifeboat Station to present the cheque, for the magnificent amount of £555, and to be shown around the Lifeboat, SupaCat, and Lifeboat Station by Phil Pitham, Station Mechanic.
