Chichester Voices to sing in the Boathouse - Saturday 15th December

RNLI Fishing Competition 2016Chichester Voices was formed in 1992, giving their first public performance in October of that year. The choir is a chamber choir and has over the years enjoyed the companionship that belonging to such a group brings to its members.

The choir was initially formed of musicians working at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, but soon opened its doors to non medics. Starting with just 12 members the choir has always worked with charities 'involved in the relief of human suffering'. Charities approaching the choir are put forward for consideration at the AGM and then offered a suitable concert date.

The choir now numbers around 20. The wide repertoire enjoyed by the group allows it to tailor its programmes to the occasion. Singing from ancient to modern, from plainsong to jazz and sacred to secular ensures variety which both performers and audiences seem to like.

Tickets for the concert on 15th December at RNLI Selsey LIfeboat Station can be obtained from the Lifeboat Shop, Kingsway Selsey, Gilbert & Clevelend in the High Street, Selsey, on line at Chichester Voices or by telephoning 07900 098197 or 01243 601822
