Selsey Shantymen to Sing on the Lifeboat Station apron on Sunday 20th September 2020 at around 2 p.m.

Selsey Shantymen delighted locals and visitors alike when they set themselves up on the Lifeboat Station apron for two performances over the August bank holiday weekend and raised the fantastic sum of over £400.

Weather permitting they will be appearing on the apron again this coming Sunday, September 20th at about 2 p.m., and so if you fancy a bit of musical entertainment to accompany your walk along the prom why not pop along and watch them for a while? You could pay a visit to the Lifeboat Shop, which has recently re-opened, at the same time. Unfortunately the Station itself is still closed to visitors.

Covid-19 may have put a stop to our major fundraising activities so far this year (the annual sponsored walk and Lifeboat Week both had to be cancelled due to the pandemic), but it has not ended the need for the RNLI's services. Since the lockdown came into force at the end of March, Selsey Lifeboats have responded to 26 calls for help - they still need your support.

If you can’t make it in person, you can still show your support by logging on to our justgiving page HERE and making a donation, no matter how small. Every penny counts.
