Morgan Rogers, a student at St Leonard's Primary School, Stafford, visited Selsey Lifeboat station on the Open Evening during Lifeboat Week 2014. She was so impressed with the crew and the boats that she decided she would organise an event at her school to raise money for Selsey Lifeboat. In early October she organised an "odd shoe/odd sock day" with everyone making a donation to wear odd shoes and/or socks. Some of the results are shown in the photos.
The event raised £110.30 which Morgan donated to Selsey Lifeboat to help the crew continuing the valuable work of saving lives at sea.
Well done Morgan and thanks to all who took part!!
